Mineral Radio

A high-frequency identity for an independent online radio station.

RoleIdentity & art direction
DisciplinesBranding / Illustration
Layered red and blue abstract paper forms

Mineral Radio needed an identity that could hold many scenes without sanding off their edges. The system treats broadcast fragments like mineral samples: collected, labelled, and charged with color.

The signal

A broadcast identity made to mutate.

A strict typographic backbone keeps the station recognizable while a changing field of crops, signals, stamps, and saturated color gives every show its own frequency.

Vivid red abstract color field01
Printed graphic design material on a desk02
Launch posters and a modular broadcast kit.
Project note

Consistency came from the attitude of the system, not from repeating a single lockup.

Layered blue and orange color study
A flexible palette for programme artwork.
Outcome

A compact identity kit built to let a small team publish quickly without making the station feel predictable.
